Ushering & Welcome

"Welcome her in a way worthy of the saints, and help in whatever you may need."

The Ushering & Welcome team serves as the first point of contact for every visitor and member on Sunday morning. They greet attendees with warmth, distribute bulletins, assist with seating, pass the offering bags, and distribute communion elements — all with a joyful smile. Around 12 volunteers work in pairs each week, with both youth and mature members serving together.

Morning Tea & Emblems

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others."

This behind-the-scenes team keeps KCC running on Sunday mornings. Around 12 volunteers working in pairs arrive early to set up tea, snacks, and dishes for post-service fellowship, and also prepare the communion emblems for the worship service. Their quiet service helps facilitate connection and community among church members.

Floral Arrangement

"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever."
Isaiah 40:8

Each Sunday, the Floral Arrangement ministry beautifies the church platform as a visual act of worship. The display is changed weekly as a reminder of God's eternal word set against the fleeting things of this world. No formal training is required — only a desire to honour God through creativity and a love of nature.

Worship Service

"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit."
Colossians 3:16–17

The Worship Ministry leads the congregation in singing as a teaching ministry — uniting the church in praise and biblical truth each week. Singers and musicians rotate in weekly teams under worship and music leaders. KCC actively recruits musicians of all ages and skill levels and offers music workshops to train new volunteers.

Sunday School

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6

Sunday School runs every week from 10:20am–11:30am for children aged 3–12, with three classes tailored to different age groups. After the first half of the communion worship service, children move to their classes for interactive, gospel-centred lessons that build biblical foundations from an early age. Volunteers are needed as teachers, teaching assistants, and worship leaders.

Mandarin Service 华语崇拜

"Grow in Christ. Serve Christ. Share Christ."
KCC Vision

Established in 2016, the Mandarin Service exists to welcome and disciple Mandarin-speaking members of our community. Every Sunday at 10am the congregation worships together in the main service, then the Chinese group moves to a separate auditorium for Mandarin-language worship and preaching, followed by refreshments and fellowship. The Peace Chinese Group also organises family gatherings, meals, and outdoor activities throughout the year.

Home Groups

"A home group is a great way to grow spiritually in fellowship with other disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ."
KCC

Home Groups are small gatherings of up to 20 KCC members that meet in homes throughout the week. Members study Scripture together, encourage one another, and build deep relationships in community. It is one of the primary ways KCC disciples grow in faith outside of Sunday mornings.

BASIC Youth

"To give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth."

BASIC Youth — Brothers and Sisters in Christ — is a Bible study programme for adolescents, meeting twice a month after the Sunday service from noon to 1pm. Led by older adults, sessions tackle the real pressures and complexities young people face today and show how Scripture speaks into them. The goal is to equip young people to understand their world from God's perspective.

Ignite Youth

"A glad heart makes a happy face."

Ignite Youth serves high school and university students through monthly social and spiritual activities. Events are deliberately varied — some focused on socialising, others on faith growth, and others on inviting friends into community. The aim is to spark new friendships and keep the flame of those friendships alive for a lifetime.
